Eagle spotting

We are here at the Rum Runner watching the snow fall so  I thought I would post pictures of one of our favorite things to do here at Stockton Lake.  David and I both love Eagle spotting.  While sailing or here at the dock we have seen our National bird quite frequently.  One evening we were quite surprised that we had chosen a cove very near to an Eagle nest.  Zooming in with my camera we could see the baby in the nest.

Thanks to mother nature and home improvements, it has been two weeks without a trip to the Rum Runner.  We are feeling the strain!

The high this Saturday was 72 and now today it is snowing, what a difference a night in Missouri makes.  It is time for us to prepare the Rum Runner for sailing.  After leaving her completely naked for the winter we refitted the rigging.  David was needing to fix a light and the windex so a trip to the top of the mast was in order.  Thank goodness for H dock friends and Jason from I dock we are thrilled to have that job complete.
